One coordination point for custom machined parts
ExactMach coordinates suitable manufacturing partners for custom CNC components. The service is intended for engineering teams, OEM companies, machine builders and product developers that need drawing-based parts rather than standard catalogue products.
Each project is reviewed separately. Feasibility, material, process, price, lead time, inspection and delivery requirements are confirmed with a suitable partner before a commercial commitment is made.
Parts and applications
Custom parts may include:
- Automation equipment components
- Robotics and motion parts
- Electronics and optical mounts
- Housings, brackets and plates
- Shafts, sleeves and rings
- Functional prototypes and low-volume components
The application helps define the engineering requirement, but capability is determined by the drawing, material, geometry, quantity and quality requirements.
What the coordination process covers
Drawing and requirement review
The current 2D drawing, 3D model, material, quantity, finish, critical tolerances and inspection requirements are organized into an RFQ record. Missing information and assumptions are identified before quotation.
Manufacturing evaluation
A suitable partner reviews the part against available processes and project requirements. The operator does not present a partner’s factory, equipment, certification or production capacity as its own.
Quotation and approval
The quotation should state scope, assumptions, material, quantity, finish, inspection, delivery and commercial terms. Final price, payment, delivery commitments and order acceptance require human approval.
Production and delivery communication
After approval, production questions, quality information, packaging and shipping coordination are tracked against the approved requirements. Changes should be recorded against the drawing revision.
Materials and finishing
Known material experience includes aluminium 5052, 6061 and 7075, 45 steel and SK2 steel. Other materials may be reviewed when a suitable partner confirms capability. Anodizing, heat treatment and other finishing requirements are also project-specific.
Prepare a complete RFQ
Send:
- Revision-controlled drawing
- 3D CAD model where available
- Material grade and condition
- Prototype or production quantity
- Critical dimensions and datums
- Surface finish and post-processing
- Inspection documentation requirements
- Destination and target timing
FAQ
Do you sell standard parts?
No. The service focuses on custom machined component enquiries and project coordination based on customer drawings and requirements.
Do you own the manufacturing factory?
ExactMach coordinates suitable partner factories in the Dongguan and Shenzhen area. Factory ownership and universal capability are not claimed.
Can you support prototypes and production?
Both can be reviewed, subject to supplier confirmation for the specific part, quantity, process and quality requirements.
