RFQ GUIDE
How to prepare a complete CNC RFQ
A complete technical package shortens clarification cycles and gives manufacturing partners a better basis for feasibility and quotation.

Use a controlled drawing
Send a PDF drawing with a clear revision, dimensions, threads, datums and critical features. A 3D model helps clarify geometry, but it does not replace the controlled drawing where tolerances or notes apply.
Specify material and quantity
Name the required material grade, quantity and forecast volume where available. The quantity affects process selection, setup approach and quote basis.
Call out the requirements that matter
Include tolerance, surface finish, secondary operations, inspection documentation, packaging and delivery destination. Explain any functional requirement that a drawing alone may not convey.
Expect clarification when information is missing
A responsible manufacturing review may ask questions before confirming feasibility, price or lead time. Resolving these questions before production reduces avoidable risk.
