ORDER CONTROL

What to confirm before CNC production starts

Clear order release prevents a supplier from machining the wrong revision, material or inspection requirement.

Confirm the controlled drawing revision

Every order should identify the approved drawing revision and technical files. If a requirement changes after quotation, ask for confirmation before production begins.

Confirm material, finish and quantity

Ensure the supplier’s written confirmation matches the approved material grade, quantity, finish and any secondary process. Do not rely on assumptions carried over from an earlier version.

Agree how quality will be checked

Clarify the critical dimensions, inspection method, acceptance basis and documentation the customer requires. A deviation needs a decision before the affected parts are released.

Confirm packaging and delivery responsibility

Agree packaging, shipment destination, delivery terms and who will coordinate export and customer communication. Keep these commitments in the order record.
